VAX Serial MIDI for Kraftor

VAX 1.0 firmware for Kraftor provides MIDI-triggered speech and 100 persistent FRAM slots for sentences and voice settings. Use the online VAX Designer to edit, audition and save; the VAX Phoneme Translator for pitch and duration; Echo for serial text and commands; or Console for live text and visual effects.

Updated 12 October 2026, version 1.0. The latest build maps CC16 across all nine voices, keeps each voice's natural settings unless adjusted with CC18-22, and adds non-blocking sentence output over USB serial for Console. Choose Kraftor_VAX_1.0_2026-10-12.uf2 for the current firmware. Vax_Serial_MIDI_0_2.uf2 is retained as the legacy version.
