Console now has a talking head πŸ€– The latest versi Console now has a talking head πŸ€–

The latest version adds a 3D head animated by phoneme data from Kraftor.

In this demo, my DAW drives RoboVox via MIDI. Kraftor sends the phoneme names over serial to Console, where a lookup table maps each phoneme to a mouth shape.

Play the voice. See the words. πŸ€– The remote contr Play the voice. See the words. πŸ€–

The remote controller in this demo is my new Teletype, playing Kraftor with the VAX firmware and DECtalk robot voices over MIDI.

VAX now sends the spoken text over USB serial too. Console receives it and displays big words with live visual effects.

The updated VAX Designer runs in your browser: write a sentence, shape its voice, audition it and save it to Kraftor.

Everything in this demo is live.
